Message from Principal Laurie Davis

Weathersfield is a “GEM” of a school that has been the best kept secret for far too long. Well…the secret is out! When you walk onto the Weathersfield campus, you feel a sense of “happiness”.  People say this time and time again and it’s totally true! We have a warm and welcoming school environment, and a school community that cares deeply for our children and their academic and social emotional growth.

Weathersfield has excellent teachers who are highly dedicated to their students and families. Our teachers are a cohesive group who share ideas, seek advice and attend professional development to continuously enhance their teaching strategies. Our teachers have a true heart for children. This combined with their dedication toward ensuring that their students are provided with high quality instruction makes the classroom environment a rich learning experience for all.

In addition to our instructionally strong, very caring teachers, we have a tremendously dedicated and committed support staff. They are always there to provide whatever assistance necessary to make a positive educational experience for all our children and their families.

The Weathersfield school community is second to none. Our highly supportive PTA and parent volunteers put in countless hours doing everything they can to provide our children with everything they need for a well-rounded education.

We truly are a neighborhood school . The children grow-up together at Weathersfield. They learn the importance of respect, responsibility, caring, kindness and honesty. They work together to achieve the best that they can be. The Weathersfield children are amazing!

The secret is out “Our beautiful school is a DIAMOND!”

Laurie Davis, Principal
