We are rapidly approaching the end of the school year. The next few months will be an exciting time for our Seniors and their families. Plans are underway to ensure that our end of year activities and the Commencement Ceremony are designed to create lasting and meaningful memories. This newsletter contains important information for students as well as parents/guardians.

What's Coming Up!

Commencement will take place in Lancer Stadium on Thursday, June 6th at 5:00 pm. Plans are under way to ensure a very special ceremony. The ceremony will last approximately two hours. All guests MUSThave a ticket, with the exception of children 4 and under. Tickets are NOW on sale through May 17th. 
-Each member of the graduating class may request up to two (2) complimentary tickets. 
-Additional tickets can be purchased for $10.00 each. With a limit of 10 tickets per graduate. Refunds will not be available.
-Order online or purchase in the student store by 3:00pm May 17th. Note: Follow this procedure for both paid and complimentary tickets.
-Confirmation of the ticket orders will be posted outside the Attendance Office and in the Activities Office on May 27th. Contact the Student Store if there are any errors on the posted list.
-Students will pick up their tickets in the Activities Office (back door) on Tuesday, June 4th between 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm 


Junior/Senior Prom

Junior/Senior Prom will be held Saturday, May 18th from 7pm-11pm. Tickets will be available to purchase online or in person at the Student Store starting Friday, Mar. 29th for a ONE DAY ASB STICKER HOLDER SPECIAL. If you are bringing a non-TOHS guest, a guest pass must be submitted by May 10th. Guest passes are available online, in the Activities Office, or in the Student Store. All guest passes are due to the Student Store at the time of purchase. If purchased online guest passes are due the following day, otherwise ticket purchase will not be valid.

1 DAY SPECIAL - March 29th : $75 with ASB Sticker ONLY (not valid for Guest tickets) 
April 11th – 22nd : $85 with ASB Sticker/$95 without 
April 23rd – May 5th: $95 with ASB Sticker/$105 without 
May 5th – May 10th: $115 all students and guests

Image result for handicapped parking Parking Accommodations for Handicapped/Disabled Guest

Seating Arrangements will be provided for the disabled individual and one other guest. If disabled parking is needed, please complete a Disabled Parking Request form which is available online under the Activities page Senior tab or in the Activities Office. These request forms need to be submitted to the Activities Office by Friday, May 17th. Please note that even if you have a state-issued handicap placard or license plate, you MUST still complete the request for handicap parking with Activities 


Interested in Speaking or Performing At Graduation?

We know there are talented students in the Class of 2019 who are ready to inspire and perform at Baccalaureate or Graduation. This is a wonderful way to cap off your four years at Thousand Oaks High School by speaking or performing at Graduation or Baccalaureate. Meeting for students wishing to perform at Graduation or Baccalaureate will be held on Thursday, April 11th in room M-3 at lunch. Audition speeches are due to Mrs. Hronek, Assistant Principal of Student Activities, Friday, April 12th. Speaker auditions for Baccalaureate and Graduation will be held on Thursday, April 26th  by appointment in room M-3. Graduation performance applications are due Thursday, April 26th at 4pm in the Activities Office. Performance auditions will be held on Wednesday, May 8th in the Performing Arts Center. All auditions arrive at 1:30 pm
