DRESS CODE

Students are requested to wear uniforms while attending school and at all school functions.  
On Fridays and approved spirit-days, students may wear approved EARTHS spirit-wear or the 
approved school uniform.

Boys' Uniform Options

Students are expected to be neatly dressed and well groomed at all times.  
Girls' skorts/skirts/jumpers must be an appropriate length - no more than 3 to 4 
inches above the knee.  Boys' shirts must be no more than 6 inches below the 
waist when not tucked-in.

EARTHS is a hands-on, active learning environment.  As safety is of paramount importance, 
jewelry is discouraged.  Minimal jewelry should be worn at school  Chains, necklaces, medals, 
bracelets, and rings are highly discouraged and students may be asked to remove jewelry if it 
interferes with the educational process and/or safety.  The school will not be responsible for 
any items lost or damaged if worn to school.

Shoes are to be worn that allow students to walk and run with ease.  Predominantly white, 
khaki, or green tennis/sport style shoes that tie or use velcro are preferred, and sandals or 
flip-flops are not allowed. Students should not wear shoes that have a heel/platform. Socks 
must be worn and should be white, khaki, or green.  Girls may also wear white, khaki, or 
green tights or knee socks.

Permitted alternatives are available through the approved uniform supply company.  Parents 
of 5th grade students are encouraged to purchase boots for protection while participating in 
S.H.R.U.B.S. (Students Helping to Restore Unique Biomes) field trips and excursions.

It is our expectation that all required EARTHS uniforms will be purchased from the approved 
vendor or at our approved "Used Uniform Sales".
