Parent Involvement

 Parent Involvement

Parents play a critical role in their child's education. At EARTHS, we require
three hours per month of your time dedicated to the support of your child and
their classmates. There are numerous ways to become an involved parent!
We encourage you to volunteer in the classroom, serve on a committee,
participate in an evening event, or help out in the Library or Front Office.

All adult volunteers must have a negative result TB test on file in the EARTHS office.  Most of the TB tests are good for 2 to 4 years.

If you are new to our school, before you volunteer in a classroom you need to bring proof of a negative TB test to school.  These can be obtained at your own doctor or urgent care centers.

A reminder to returning EARTHS parent volunteers: If you had a TB test in 2009, the year EARTHS opened, or before that time, it may have expired.  Checking our files we found several that have already expired or will expire this year.  Please check your records and update your TB tests if needed.

Click HERE for information on where you can get tested.
