School Cents At The Oaks Mall

Do you shop at The Oaks Mall? Do you want an excuse to shop at The Oaks? If so, read on!

School Cents is a program sponsored by The Oaks in which schools can win $250-$2500 just for shopping at the mall between September 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020 and then submitting your receipts.

Three ways to submit your receipts:
2. Submit at Customer Service desk at the MALL
3. DROP off receipts to the School Cents box in the office at EARThS

Don't forget to share this information with your family and friends! The more receipts we turn in the better chances we have for winning the top prize.

Welcome EARTHS' Families!

What an exciting time of year - the beginning of school! My name is Reina Foxx Paredes and I will be serving as the EARTHS' PTA President, 2017-2018.

The PTA Executive Board, made up of volunteers like myself, and I are looking forward to partnering with you to have another excellent year full of opportunities to learn, explore and have fun. All of what we have planned will not be possible without the support of our families. So thank you in advance to all of you who voluntarily become PTA members, make financial contributions and most importantly volunteer your time. We're in this together for our children and we can't do it without you.

The PTA Executive Board has been planning since the end of last school year for 2017-2018. Taking into consideration feedback we received from last year's family survey and previous year's programs/events/fundraisers, we've partnered with Principal Rickert and other members of the EARTHS' staff to propose a 2017-2018 budget and calendar. The budget and calendar were approved by the EARTHS' PTA General Association at our first meeting yesterday.

The EARTHS' PTA Executive Board also plans to focus on the following areas this year:

  • Supporting the engagement of a school computer technology specialist
  • Encouraging and fostering volunteerism
  • Communicating the Five Ws and one H of PTA (Who, What, Where, When, Why & How)

Over the next couple of weeks we will be communicating information about our PTA membership and Direct Donation campaigns, spirit wear, fall events and programs and ways to volunteer. Please take the time to read the information and get involved!

The PTA does not have an office with a "real" door but we do have an "open door policy". If there are questions or ideas you have, please don't hesitate to share them with us by emailing

On behalf of the Executive Board, we look forward to working closely with all of you to have a fantastic school year. Together we can truly make a difference in our children's educational experience. GO GECKOS!

All the best,

Reina Foxx Paredes
