General Information

Welcome to Cypress Elementary!

Welcome to Cypress Elementary, home of the Cubs!  It is our  hope that you have the opportunity to visit to see what makes Cypress a great place to grow and learn. Until then, check out our website and see the many things Cypress has to offer your child.

The parents of Cypress Elementary are involved in supporting the school program in a number of ways. Many families are actively involved in our Booster Organization. Through a committee system parents volunteer in support of fundraising, school activities, aiding in classrooms or library, and other areas that foster students' learning. Additionally, parents are on the School Site Council which is responsible for developing an improvement plan for the school. We invite all parents to become involved in the school either in a school organization or in the classroom. I am happy to say that high parent involvement is one of the cornerstones of our students' success.

The entire Cypress staff is committed to educating students to their potential and helping them on their way to becoming productive members of society. Our teachers are passionate and knowlegeable about effective teaching strategies that enable students to succeed academically and behaviorally. The office staff, Librarian, Teacher Specialists, custodial staff and campus supervisors all share a vital role in supporting the classrooms. The entire Cypress team is proud to work together to benefit our students.

Cypress students will participate in a standards-based, comprehensive program that meets their individual needs in a positive, child-centered, cooperative environment fostered by parent involvement, a dedicated, caring staff and a supportive community. Our students are an outstanding group of individuals who take pride in themselves, their accomplishments, and their school. They maintain high standards of citizenship and scholarship with guidance from parents and staff as all strive toward the common goal of educational excellence and school success.

Please contact me if you would like more information about our exceptional school.
