 GET CONNECTED!

COLINA MIDDLE SCHOOL

Welcome to Colina Middle School, where every child has an opportunity to explore their interests and passions

with the help of our top notch staff, our campus is bright and inviting, and we offer a wide variety of

extracurricular activities to keep every child engaged and inspire a love of learning.   During these transitional

middle school years it is essential that both students AND parents remain involved in the school community,

and here at Colina we’ve made it easy for the whole family to participate.

We invite your family to become an active part of our Cougar Community.

Here are a few ways to get started:

Step 1 COUGAR FAMILY CONNECTION

The Cougar Family Connection directory is a great way for both parents and students to stay connected.  All PTSA

members receive FREE access to this secure online and mobile directory.  Non-members may purchase access for

$10.  Searchable by student or family name, customizable for frequently called numbers, accessible from computers

or smart phones.

Register for the Cougar Family Connection here.

Step 2 PTSA (Parent/Teacher/Student Association)

Our PTSA is very active, sponsoring or assisting with hundreds of activities across the grade levels throughout the

school year.  PTSA membership funds underwrite many important programs on campus, including technology

upgrades, campus maintenance, continuing education for teachers and staff, and scholarships for various student

activities.

Join the Colina PTSA here.

Step 3 DIRECT DONATION

This year our PTSA is assisting with hundreds of activities across the grade levels throughout the school year.  PTSA

membership funds underwrite many important programs on campus, including technology upgrades, campus

maintenance, continuing education for teachers and staff, and scholarships for various student activities.

Step 4 VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Colina prides itself on being a stimulating academic environment, and on its ability to keep students engaged in the

business of learning. The school depends on parents to assist with the wide variety of special activities that capture

students’ attention.  Whatever your personal interest – the arts, technology, fitness, fashion, hospitality, classroom

assistance – there is a place for you.  You are not excluded from lending a hand if you work full time, because many

activities take place outside of business hours.  Whether you can participate for two hours or twenty hours, we are

eager to have you on board.

Sign up to volunteer here.
