Fine Arts Programs

We have some wonderful programs available for your student to enroll in. Please check out some information on Band, Chorus, and Strings or contact the school office for more information.


COME JOIN THE BAND!! Studies show, students are motivated to do better in school when they participate in music programs.

Plus, students will perform at the Civic Arts Plaza in May!

Program is open for all interested students in grades 4 and 5.  Students must maintain class work and be responsible for any work missed during class.


About the Instructor

Anthony Villa has earned his B.M and M.M at California State University, Northridge in music performance. Anthony has studied clarinet under Dr. Julia Heinen and performed with the CSUN Wind Ensemble band under Dr. Lawrence Stoffel. Anthony is a professional musician in all styles of music and has a passion for the wind band. Mr. Anthony brings a broad musical perspective and enjoyable learning environment to his students.

Aspen Elementary Chorus
Presented through the cooperative efforts of the Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, the Conejo Valley Unified School District, and the Conejo Recreation & Park District

TK/K Chorus - Tuesdays from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

1st through 5th Grade - Tuesdays from 2:45 - 3:30 p.m

$125.00 per semester

Come join Aspen Strings!

Presented through the cooperative efforts of The Arts Council of the Conejo Valley, Conejo Valley Unified School District and The Conejo Recreation & Parks District. For the past 30 plus years, the cooperative efforts of The Arts Council, CVUSD and CRPD have helped to promote youth enrichment in the arts.Mondays and Wednesdays

Class Dates and Times (Grades 3,4 and 5) 

Tuesdays and Thursdays
1:15pm - 1:45pm -  Beginning Strings (3rd Grade)
2:45pm - 3:15pm -  Advanced Strings (4th & 5th Grade)

Instructor: Jordan Martone

Jordan Ann Martone holds a Bachelor’s degree in String Performance (emphasis in violin) from California State University, Northridge. She has been teaching string programs since 2012 at many schools in the CVUSD including: Colina Middle School, Sequoia Middle School, Los Cerritos Middle School, Madroña Elementary, and Westlake High School. In addition to her public school programs at Aspen, Weathersfield and Westlake Elementary Schools, she also teaches her own studio of private students. As a violinist, Mrs. Martone has been a featured studio musician on many feature films, video games, and she can be seen on-screen on many primetime TV shows. In her orchestral experience, Jordan has performed for many renowned musicians, conductors, and composers such as Carly Rae Jepsen, John Daversa, Bruce Broughton, and John Williams.

Cost: $306/semester (or 4 payments of $51.25).


First Semester September 17th - January 16th
Second Semester: January 21st - May 7th
