Spirit Day - Costumes (Wear your costumes to school - Remember NO weapons, scary makeup, blood, or masks. Also be sure your students wear comfortable costumes they can sit and work in. They still need to wear comfortable and appropriate shoes for play.)

*Student Council is collecting socks during the month of October. Any Socktober donations can be brought to Room 16. Thank you!

Welcome to Aspen Elementary School!

Aspen Elementary School is located in the heart of Thousand Oaks and nestled in a tranquil, well-established neighborhood in the Conejo Valley. Our school has a population of approximately 375 students in Transitional Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Our teaching staff consists of 17 regular classroom teachers, 3 special education teachers, and a Learning Center teacher. We are also pleased to have a tremendous support staff to assist students in a variety of ways. At Aspen, we are committed to providing a complete education that meets the academic, cultural, social, and emotional needs of all students and prepares them to lead effective, responsible, and meaningful lives. Aspen students are challenged to exceed district and state standards. Critical thinking skills and a lifelong love of learning are nurtured. We strive to ensure that 21st century learning skills and integrated technology skills are fundamental foundations of learning.
