This workshop will be led by Kirsti Thompson, Director of Give an Hour in California. This interactive training will help parents understand and focus on five areas of parent/child relationships that are key to children's success in school and life.

CVUSD Students Outperform County & Statewide Achievement Levels in 2018 CAASPP Test Results

The results of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) tests, which were completed by students in grades 3-8 and 11 last spring, were released by the California Department of Education. This is the fourth year students across the state – more than three million total, including Conejo Valley Unified School District completed the test.

This time it’s Madrona Elementary where he once attended as a student, and where he now serves as a Child Care Assistant for the school’s after school child care program.

On Thursday, October 11th from 7-8:30pm at our Horizon Hills MPR, please join our BreakThrough Student Assistance Program, and the Conejo Schools Foundation for the first 2018-2019 Parent Workshop and Education Series: Mental Health from the Law Enforcement Perspective. This workshop will be led by presenter Tim Hagel, Chief of Police for the City of Thousand Oaks, and he will share his unique perspective and lead a discussion on the important topic of mental health and safety.
