An educator at Sycamore Canyon School for more than 17 years she is a well-respected member of the teaching team. We and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to recognize Ms. Young as the May 2022 Teacher of the Month!

Walnut Elementary School’s Jenelle Hogue brings joy wherever she goes. A current kindergarten teacher at Walnut, Ms. Hogue is known for finding ways to keep the Walnut community of students and staff in high spirits. She represents the high ideals of the teaching profession and we and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to honor her as the CVUSD April 2022 Teacher of the Month.

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library Hosts Book Drive for CVUSD's New Dual Language Immersion Program

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library is hosting a book drive for bilingual picture books, early readers and graphic novels in Spanish and English. These books will help build a welcoming space for learning and reading Spanish for the launch of Conejo Elementary School's Spanish-English Dual Language Immersion Program in August 2022. Books may be donated to the Newbury Park Library or Brimhall R. Grant Library in Thousand Oaks.
