Mark your calendar for CVUSD's annual College & Career Information Night on Monday, September 24, 2018! Hosted at Thousand Oaks High School, this special event features lots of helpful information for students and their families - including free workshops.
The SHINE Independent Home Study program offers students in grades K-5 a personalized approach to learning in a home-based setting. Starting in the 2018-2019 school year all SHINE students will have the opportunity to receive a $1,000 stipend to pursue their extracurricular, and academic enrichment passions.
We are excited to welcome more than 18,500 eager young minds to our school campuses when we open on Wednesday, August 22nd for the start of the 2018-2019 academic year!
CVUSD operates a fee-based home to school transportation program for students enrolled in the District's regular education program to some areas but not to all schools. For the 2018-2019 academic year, bus schedules are available to Banyan Elementary, Colina Middle School, Glenwood Elementary, Maple Elementary, Sequoia Middle School, Walnut Elementary and Madrona Elementary.
CVUSD is a proud partner of the Community Internships Training Youth (C.I.T.Y.) Program, which provides internship opportunities to students who have just completed their junior year of high school. Today a special celebration was held to recognize the 44 students and the dozens of business partners that took part in the Program - including CVUSD who proudly added four student interns to its offices this summer.
