On Tuesday, November 2nd, LA Rams team mascot Rampage, Rams Cheerleaders, and staff visited Madrona Elementary School to help students personalize holiday cards of appreciation for active-duty military members and veterans. The cards will be distributed to military members who are serving domestically and overseas during the holidays.
Science. Technology. Engineering. Mathematics. It’s officially a new era in STEM learning at Westlake High School with the completion of the largest Measure I project to date in the Conejo Valley Unified School District: a beautiful, new STEM building. The ribbon was cut on the 27,000 square foot, three-story structure at a special ceremony on Monday, November 1st. Construction for the new, $14 million building began in the summer of 2020 and was completed on schedule thanks in large part to the hard work and dedication of the District’s Planning and Facilities team who acted as the general contractor for the project. The cost of the building was paid for by Measure I, a $197 million, 2014 voter-approved facilities bond.
In the Conejo Valley Unified School District we have a right fit for every student. On Monday, November 1st at 8am the School Choice Application and the Interdistrict Transfer "Interest Form" for the 2022-2023 academic year will be available for families to complete online.
The annual CVUSD Focus on Your Future: College, Career and CTE Information Night was held virtually on Wednesday, September 29th with all CVUSD high school families invited to attend. Recordings of the presentations from that evening are now available to watch!
CVUSD's Parent Outreach Program proudly presents the 8th Annual Conference for Spanish Speaking Parents: "My Identity," on Thursday, November 4th at 6pm via Zoom. This virtual conference will feature guest speaker and paralympic athlete Juan Jose Florian. English translation will be available upon request.
