Read Across America Week is a national celebration of reading that begins on March 1, 2021. CVUSD is firmly committed to promoting reading as the catalyst for our students' future academic successes. Throughout this special week our CVUSD school sites will be engaging in special events and activities to celebrate the importance of books and reading.
Considering homeschool for your student for the 2021-2022 academic year? Our SHINE Homeschool provides students in grades TK-12 with customized academic experiences. SHINE families are guided by credentialed CVUSD teachers who meet with students individually to plan their academic goals. Terri Culpepper is an invaluable asset to the Conejo Valley Unified School District. Ms. Culpepper is CVUSD's Technology Integration Teacher on Special Assignment and she makes the success of each and every student and teacher her highest priority. Never before has technology in education been more important than now, and Ms. Culpepper has been critical to the success of the implementation of new instructional technology platforms in the District. We and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce Ms. Culpepper as our February 2021 Teacher of the Month!
Unase al Programa de asistencia estudiantil BreakThrough de CVUSD y la Fundación de las escuelas Conejo para un taller sobre apoyos de salud mental de CVUSD el Lunes 8 de marzo a las 5:30pm. Este taller proporcionará una descripción general de los apoyos de salud mental de CVUSD disponibles para todos los estudiantes y será presentado por un panel de consejeros escolares de CVUSD, el coordinador de Salud Mental de CVUSD y estudiantes. Receiving free meals just got even easier for students at CVUSD’s middle schools and comprehensive high school sites with the addition of new meal kiosk carts. The District’s Child Nutrition team recently received a USDA Breakfast Expansion Grant through the California Department of Education to fund the kiosks which now provide another point of service, reduce line congestion and most importantly help distribute FREE meals to our students.
