All CVUSD High School students and their families are invited to a "Focus on Your Future!" Career Education Pathways for ALL students event on Thursday, March 18th. Opening remarks begin at 5:30pm and sessions take place throughout the evening. This online event will feature information on a variety of topics including - Post-Secondary planning, College 2 Career Programs, how industry certifications and associate degrees lead to employment, a session on financial aid and much more. It was an exciting day in the Conejo on Monday, March 8th as our comprehensive high school students enrolled in Blended Learning returned to campus for in-person learning!
It is with much gratitude and excitement that we share that all Conejo Valley Unified School District employees will have the opportunity to receive their first COVID-19 vaccination by the end of March 2021. As of Wednesday, February 24th, employees in the education sector are eligible to be vaccinated. The CVUSD is fortunate to be working in partnership with Ventura County Office of Education to provide all CVUSD employees with the opportunity to receive the first COVID-19 vaccination dose via specially reserved appointments at the VCOE vaccination site.
It is with great pride that we share Bella, a 12th grade student at Westlake High School, has been selected as the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 13 Every Student Succeeding award recipient for 2021. ACSA Region 13 encompasses Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, and San Luis Obispo.
The National Association for Professional Development Schools is pleased to announce that Los Cerritos Middle School and PDS partner California Lutheran University’s Graduate School of Education, as part of the California University PDS Network, will be awarded the Exemplary PDS Achievement Award during the virtual NAPDS Annual Conference held at the end of March.
