Vaping & Cannabis - Get the Facts: What You Need to Know

Parents/Guardians and children twelve years of age and older are invited to attend an educational workshop on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 that will discuss the topic of Vaping & Cannabis. The event will be held in the Thousand Oaks High School Performing Arts Center from 7pm to 8:30pm with presentations from the Ventura County Behavioral Health Alcohol and Drug Programs, Ventura County Sheriffs Department and Los Robles Regional Medical Center.

In honor of National Inclusive Schools Week, which CVUSD celebrated from December 2nd to December 6th, the District put a call out to the CVUSD community to shine a light on our Inclusion Heroes. Inclusion Heroes are CVUSD teachers, staff members, and administrators who go above and beyond to create a community of inclusivity, kindness, and respect to enhance the learning for ALL students. Open Classroom Leadership Magnet Celebrates Experiential Learning at their Annual Fall Fest

Over the last four weeks Open Classroom Leadership Magnet (OCLM) students have been embracing the school’s fall theme of “Imagineers” – a theme that focuses on bringing each student’s extraordinary imagination to the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM). Students’ dedication to this thematic area of study was celebrated on Friday, November 22nd with OCLM’s annual Fall Fest, an all-day field trip at the Civic Arts Plaza.
