California Education Code Section 37222 designates May 1-7, 2022, as "National Teacher Appreciation Week" as a means of expressing appreciation to the state's teachers, instructors, professors, and other educators. Our phenomenal CVUSD teachers are the foundation of our incredible schools and we are so grateful for them each and every day - and we are especially proud to highlight them this week!
National Mental Health Month is a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health issues and provide the resources to assist them to get the help they need. Conejo Valley Unified School District recognizes the social-emotional and mental health needs of students and families. We remain committed to serving our student community in these important areas.

CVUSD's Parent Outreach Program proudly presents the 8th Annual Conference for Spanish Speaking Parents: My Identity - "Circumventing Poverty through Education. My personal journey to break the poverty cycle," on Thursday May 5th at 6pm via zoon. This virtual conference will feature Fernando Alvarez-Nunez, Ph.D., Scientific director of the Pivotal Synthetic Drug Product group at Amgen Inc as the guest speaker.
