National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated nationwide to honor the contributions that Hispanic and Latino Americans have made to our Nation and society. Resolution #22/23-03 in support of National Hispanic Heritage Month was approved at the Tuesday, August 16, 2022 Board of Education meeting.

In Partnership with Los Robles Health System: Nominate Your Favorite Teacher for the Hero's Heart Award!

Los Robles Health System is giving back to our community by honoring one Elementary School Teacher, one Middle School Teacher and one High School Teacher with the Hero’s Heart Award. An ideal candidate should be a teacher that goes above and beyond, is actively involved in mentoring their students and is involved within the community. All teachers must be employed by a public or private school within Ventura County and nominations must be submitted by Friday, October 14th.

High School Student Internship Opportunity with CVUSD’s Communication Team - Now Accepting Applications

The CVUSD’s Communications Department is proud to begin year two of its Internship Program for the 2022-2023 school year. High school students who are currently enrolled in the 11th and 12th grade and have an interest in journalism, communications, video production, photography, marketing, website design and/or graphic design are encouraged to apply. The goal of the program is to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of communication and to ultimately be a “communications ambassador” for the CVUSD.
