A lifelong learner and first grade teacher at Madroña Elementary School, Donna Luft is bursting with creativity and charm. Her exuberance makes a lasting, positive impact on her students, their families and her coworkers. She is a thoughtful, dedicated, and highly professional problem-solver and we and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to recognize Ms. Luft as our Conejo Valley Unified School District - March 2021 Teacher of the Month!
We, as a school community, are at our best when we support one another, stand up for one another and work together. Over the past year, there has been an increase in hate crimes against members of the AAPI community, including this week’s devastating and senseless acts of violence in Georgia. Our District condemns these racially motivated acts and we stand together, in support of our diverse community of learners, their families, our staff and the broader AAPI community.
Each year, National Women's History Month offers an opportunity to honor the legacy of women who have built, shaped and improved the Nation. Celebrated in March, this annual event recognizes how throughout American history, women of every race, class and ethnic background have made vital contributions, often in the face of discrimination and undue hardship. CVUSD is proud to recognize the accomplishments of women this March, and all year through.
