The Conejo Valley Unified School District is pleased to announce the formation of a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and Others Advisory Council (LGBTQ+ AC). The purpose of the new LGBTQ+ AC is to advise the District on strategies and actions that can assist the District in becoming more welcoming, inclusive and informed in supporting our LGBTQ+ students in their academics, extracurriculars and social emotional development in school.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District is excited to announce the creation of the African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC). CVUSD recognizes the importance of serving our African American students and families, and the creation of the AAPAC will provide opportunities for families to engage with district staff, and collaborate to develop a shared understanding of family and community needs. An informational webinar will be held on Monday, August 30th at 6:00 PM to provide further information about the AAPAC.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District is seeking two qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee which will serve as the School Choice Committee (“SCC”). Applicants must be the parent/guardian of a current CVUSD student, and may not be an employee of the Conejo Valley Unified School District. This committee reviews the Board Policy and Administrative Regulation for potential updates each school year.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District Child Nutrition team is proud to provide to the public a mobile meal site to continue to provide free meals to all children ages 2-18 in the community. The mobile meal site will open on Wednesday, August 18th in the parking lot at 1400 E. Janss Road, the District’s Educational Office. Cold grab and go meals will be available Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 12:30pm
