The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has awarded Conejo Valley Unified School District the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting (COE). ASBO International’s COE recognizes districts that have met the program’s high standards for financial reporting and transparency. The CVUSD earned the Certificate of Excellence for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the fiscal year ended 2021. This marks the second year in a row that CVUSD has received this recognition.

Conejo Valley Unified School District has an open seat on its Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. The committee is charged with informing the public concerning the District’s expenditure of Measure I bond proceeds, reviewing expenditure reports, and preparation and presentation of an annual report. The committee meets at least once per year, but not more frequently than monthly.

This committee oversees how funds from Measure I are spent to improve our District’s schools. CVUSD is now accepting applications for its Independent Citizens Bond Oversight Committee: "Parent/Guardian of Child Enrolled in District & Active in a Parent-Teacher Organization - Member." The deadline to apply is February 19, 2021 at noon. The application is available to complete online.
