Elissa Spraggins is a dedicated educator who promotes a positive learning environment through her encouragement and praise of students. A veteran in the classroom, with more than 20 years as a teacher in the CVUSD, she works expertly to meet the diverse learning styles of her students. A current first grade teacher at Madrona Elementary School, we and the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to announce Mrs. Spraggins as our January 2022 Teacher of the Month.
Have you heard about the big news in Transitional Kindergarten (TK)? Families will now be able to participate in expanded TK opportunities in the CVUSD for their students. Starting next school year (2022-2023), students with birthdays from September 2, 2017 through FEBRUARY 2, 2018 will be eligible to enroll in CVUSD TK. Students born between July 1, 2017 and September 1, 2017 are eligible for either TK or Kindergarten.
Online Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year for new CVUSD students is around the corner! CVUSD will open 2022/2023 online Pre-Enrollment for students in Elementary (TK-5th) on Tuesday, January 18th, and for students in Secondary (6-12th) on Monday, January 31st.
CVUSD parents/guardians are invited to join the District’s Instructional Services team for two scheduled Preview Nights (virtual) to review a new high school Core Literature title that is to be brought before the CVUSD Board of Education for possible approval.
