Congratulations Victoria Calle of Conejo Elementary – Our October Teacher of the Month
Victoria Calle values not only the academic success of her students, but also their social and emotional well-being. She fosters a warm and supportive classroom environment for her students, where she is a consistent source of joy, security and encouragement. We, along with community partner, the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce are proud to honor her as CVUSD’s October 2019 Teacher of the Month!
Ms. Calle has been an educator with CVUSD for 17 years. She currently teaches first grade at Conejo Elementary School.
Ms. Calle has a reputation of having great integrity, and dependability. She is always professional with colleagues and parents, and offers a wealth of knowledge in primary grade instruction. Her students master curriculum materials in multiple ways, such as writing, reading, use of technology, collaborative work and kinesthetically. Her teaching style encourages students to learn inside and outside of the classroom.
She sets a great example by always speaking kindly and acting positively towards others. She does anything she can ti make sure all students are not excluded from activities or go without basic needs due to financial limitations. She places so much effort in helping to build her school community and balances it so effortlessly, it’s inspirational!
To celebrate Ms. Calles October Teacher of the Month recognition, members of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Mark McLaughlin, CVUSD’s Proud Superintendent of Schools, Jeanne Valentine, Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and CVUSD Board Members presented him with a commemorative plaque in a surprise ceremony on Tuesday, October 8th.
Thank you Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and congratulations Ms. Calle!
