Vicky van Wijk-Torossian Promoted to Assistant Principal of Activities at Westlake High School

CVUSD is pleased to announce the promotion of Vicky van Wijk-Torossian to the role of Assistant Principal of Activities at Westlake High School beginning in the 2019-2020 school year. The official announcement was made at the District Board of Education Meeting on May 7.

Most recently, Ms. Torossian has been working at Conejo Valley Unified School District as a Special Education Coordinator, assisting with planning, coordinating and supervising CVUSD’s Special Education program. Ms. Torossian developed and led professional development opportunities for school psychologist, speech/language pathologists and Special Education teachers at CVUSD.

Ms. Torossian holds a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential, a Masters in Education Leadership, and Education Specialist Credential and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, Teaching and Learning from California State University, Chanel Islands. 

"We are pleased to announce Ms. Torossian's promotion as Assistant Principal of Activities," said Dr. Mark McLaughlin, Superintendent of Conejo Valley Unified School District. "We are excited to welcome her to the Westlake High School community, where she will be an asset to students and parents."
