Congratulations to Mr. Alfaro on his 30th anniversary at Walnut Elementary!

Our amazing custodian, Mr. Gonzalo Alfaro, started working at Walnut in April of 1989. He has been at Walnut longer than any other employee! Staff and students surprised him on Monday, April 1st at the Wildcat Pride Assembly for his 30th anniversary with the school.

Mr. Alfaro was presented with a cake, gift card (for Stub Hub, so he can see one of his favorite teams play—The Dodgers or The Chivas!), celebration banners, and a video featuring staff, students, and alumni. His family members joined staff and students to celebrate his incredible work ethic, dedication to Walnut, and the pride, love and care he puts in to taking care of our school. The theme was, "Be Like Mr. Alfaro!"—dedicated, caring, responsible, and always looking for ways to help others. Mr. Alfaro inspires us daily with his incredible work ethic and dedication to Walnut.

Our school shines because of you, Mr. Alfaro! Congratulations and thank you for your dedication!
