Calling ALL Current High School Juniors: Learn More About the C.I.T.Y. Internship Program

C.I.T.Y. (Community, Internships, Training, Youth) is a summer internship program for 11th grade students in the summer before their senior year. This phenomenal program provides students with unique internship opportunities where they'll spend time with local employers, explore career pathways, and gain skills and experience that can be used for future jobs. A C.I.T.Y. internship Fair will be held on March 12, 2019 from 5:30-7pm at the Grant R. Brimhall Library (1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks) in the Marvin E. Smith Community Room where students will be able to meet with local businesses and learn more about this year's internship opportunities. 

The Conejo Valley Unified School District is a proud C.I.T.Y. partner, and will be accepting applications for internship opportunities within its Human Resources, Fiscal Services, Planning & Facilities, and Technology departments. 

Workshops for parents of students who are interested in participating in the C.I.T.Y. summer internship program will also be held on March 12, 2019. There will be parent workshops held at 5:30pm and 6:15pm at the Conejo Valley Unified School District's Boardroom at 1402 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.  To attend please Register for Parent Workshop here.  You can also attend the internship fair with your student before or after your workshop.  Workshops are for parents only and seating is limited.
