Robert Iezza, Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources Announces Retirement
After 30 years of dedicated service to the Conejo Valley Unified School District, Robert Iezza, Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources announced his retirement today.
Mr. Iezza has served as the Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources since December 2017. Prior to this role Mr. Iezza served as the District’s Deputy Superintendent of Instructional Service for five years.
“It has been an incredible privilege to work side by side with so many talented and committed teachers, administrators and support staff throughout the years,” Mr. Iezza said. “Serving our community for the past three decades has been an honor that I will treasure forever. I am grateful for the friendships and proud of the opportunities the Conejo team has, and continues to provide to our students and families.”
During Mr. Iezza’s tenure with the District, he also served as Director of Elementary Education, Principal of Conejo Elementary School, Principal of Maple Elementary School, Assistant Principal of Madrona Elementary School, Dean and Assistant Principal of Instruction at Newbury Park High School and as an adaptive P.E. teacher.
“Throughout his career, Mr. Iezza has made invaluable contributions to the students, families, and greater community our District serves,” Dr. Mark McLaughlin, Superintendent of CVUSD said. “We will greatly miss his expertise, and wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.”
Mr. Iezza is a longtime resident of the Conejo Valley, with his children receiving their K-12 education at CVUSD schools.
