California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS)
The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) is a state-wide survey sponsored by CDE that is administered by 1,037 California school districts. CHKS is not a CVUSD designed survey. CVUSD utilizes this information to develop important programs that address the health, safety, and well being of our students. CHKS has been administered biennially in CVUSD since 1999.
Survey completers identity remain anonymous and the survey is designed so that no one can be identified from the data. Participation in the survey is voluntary and parents/guardians are required to give permission for their student(s) to participate.
