Welcome to the English Learner Distance Learning resource page!

We recognize that while distance learning is a new modality of learning for all learners, it can be a unique experience for our English Learners. All learners are a priority and our goal is to provide you with information and related resources to support the linguistic and academic development of English Learners. English Language Development (ELD) is an embedded core subject within the general education instructional approach of Distant Learning.

We hope that you stay safe and well! Should you have additional questions or comments, please reach out to us at any time.  Our contact information is available below.

Elementary

Elementary education weekly schedules TK-2 and 3-5 include activities and instructional considerations for English Learners. Teachers have included Designated and Integrated ELD activities aligned to the English Language Development (ELD) Standards designed to accelerate language proficiency.

Secondary

Secondary education weekly schedules 6-8 and 9-12 includes a block of instruction for Designated ELD. English Learners in the Designated ELD Standards or Integrated ELD Literacy courses will work directly with their ELD Teacher to receive their ELD instruction, which may include the use of Rosetta Stone and iLitELL.
