The High School Education and Assessment Department is responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring and directing the development, implementation and assessment of curriculum for high schools; providing leadership for the instructional program; providing support to all high schools in the District adopted curriculum and instructional improvement efforts; planning, organizing and monitoring the development of new educational programs that meet mandated educational reforms for high schools.
The Director of High School Education and Assessment Department reports to the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services. The District’s high school principals, and outdoor school coordinator report directly to the Director of High School Education and Assessment.
