Human Growth and Development is about the process of growth beginning with pre-adolescence through adolescence. At the elementary and middle school levels, a program is presented to students in grades 4, 5, and 6 to provide them with a fact-based understanding of the changes in their physical development.

Parent/Guardian Preview Letter
Every year, CVUSD provides an opportunity for parents/guardians to preview the Human Growth and Development films, which are part of the Health Education for fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students. This year’s preview events will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 (complete details available here). District staff and nurses will be available at these events to answer questions.
