Superintendent thanks community for passing Measure I
To the Conejo Community: Thank you for your support of Measure I
On behalf of the Board of Education, staff, students and parents of Conejo Valley Unified School District, thank you for your overwhelming support of Measure I, the CVUSD school bond. One of the greatest strengths of District is the support we receive from our community, and that was certainly in evidence on November 4. The additional funding we will receive over the next twenty years will have a profound effect on our school facilities, the integration of technology into daily instruction, and ultimately, the quality of education of our children.
In the coming months we will be busy preparing plans for our first phase of facilities and technology projects to be completed in the summer of 2015. We will also be working with our Board of Education to select the members of the Measure I Bond Citizen’s Oversight Committee, and support that Committee in their new role. We will be establishing a Measure I Project Information website on our District website that will provide information on proposed project scopes and timelines, bid processes and awards, and summary reports of completed projects. This site will also contain information on the meetings of the Citizen’s Oversight Committee.
Again, our thanks to a generous and supportive community. We will spend these dollars wisely and efficiently to significantly improve the education of our children. For more information on Measure I, click here.
